I support those who are serious in their decision when it comes down to having children. I admire those who want to wait until they're really ready to have kids. There are those who'll just want babies right away after marriage or would be careless and end up being pregnant w/out realizing the sacrifice and the hardship they'll have to go through as parents. It's an emotional roller coaster. That's why sometimes people wonder if Kai and I will try again for another one, and even though I would love another one sometime in the future, I know that in my heart it would just be painful to poor out all your love to something you love sooo much. And I guess I'm scared. It's like they say, the more people you love, the more heartache that comes with it. Maybe I'm just too attached to my daughter that whenever she's sick or whenever she's hurt, my heart hurts for her. I am def. the type of mother who'll never know how to let my children fly because of my over-protectiveness. I would try to protect them away from the world as much as I can!! It's an ugly world out there, but I know I can't always hold their hand. So that's when I leave it to God's hands. I remind myself everyday that she's not mine, but God's. And my responsibility is to take care of her and shape her to the person that God wants her to be.
My heart breaks for this little Hmong boy name Caiiou Xiong. My condolences goes out to his parents and their loved ones. Even though his parents were young, through the videos, you can tell how much they loved their little boy. He died by the hands of the caretaker, the sister-in-law. (niam Lo) of the young couples. The SIL, a stay at home mom had three kids of their own. Her husband and her lives in Alaska, and the young couple who is their younger brother and wife from Fresno, moved up there to live with them in hopes that they would provide a better life for their little family. During the daytime, the SIL would babysit their little boy along with her own children. He was only 6 months I believe when he passed. The SIL was pissed off and shook him and then threw him in his car seat. When his parents came to pick him up, they noticed he wasn't himself. He was bruised on his legs and wasn't the smiling usual baby he always was anymore. Later on that night he wasn't able to breath on his own they took him to the hospital and by 4am, he was pronounced brain dead. So they took him off his life support. The SIL is arrested for shaking the baby. In this day of age, I have no IDEA why parents still don't know what SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME is. I made sure my husband saw this video, so he would understand that you never shake a baby. When he watched it he stated that she must have shaken him hard, but I CORRECTED HIM and made sure he understands that no matter how hard or light you shake a baby, they can still die from that.
Caiiou's parents put all the video memories of him on youtube. The first video is of Cindy and him. Looking into her eyes, you can tell how much he means to her. This just breaks my heart. The second video is when he came to the world. Such a beautiful baby and you can hear the MIL's voice.
The last video is when they had to take him off the life support I believe. It was very emotional as his grandma and everyone calls for him to come back. So please watch with your own discretion, it is very emotional and if you're already crying reading this, then please do not watch it.
